Chat Lock: WhatsApp now lets you lock individual chats with a PIN or fingerprint. To do this, open the chat and then tap the three dots in the top right corner. Select "Lock Chat" and then enter your PIN or fingerprint.
New Interface: WhatsApp has updated its interface with a new bottom navigation bar. The bar includes tabs for Chats, Status, Calls, and Settings.
New Features for Businesses: WhatsApp has added a number of new features for businesses, including the ability to create catalogues, send automatic messages, and track chat analytics.
Improved Security: WhatsApp has improved its security by adding features such as end-to-end encryption for all messages, two-factor authentication, and message recovery.
SCHEDULED CONTENT:
- In a WhatsApp group, there can be only 256 members in a particular group but in a recent update 512 members are available in a particular group this helps people to be in one group even.
- There is multi-device support, at a time in 3 or 4 systems WhatsApp can be connected through web WhatsApp which is easier.
- In WhatsApp there is like logout option which like Instagram when it is not used, we can log out.
THREE TYPES OF WHATSAPP PROFILES:
1. In WhatsApp personal account we can only add a profile picture and name.
2. In business WhatsApp there is a business category, office working hours, and business email id are added.
3. In business accounts even business API is used for sending bulk messages and for automated messages.
THE MAIN UPDATES ON WHATSAPP:
• There is a new version of WhatsApp the message that was sent can be edited they can edit within 15 minutes. But the message which was edited will be seen as edited.
• There is a chat lock with a password in WhatsApp contact or in the group can hide them in WhatsApp.
• WhatsApp we can easily mute calls from unknown members which we do not know.
• Transferring WhatsApp chats between smartphones without using google drive.
• WhatsApp now decided to update that without opening the device we can be able to edit the contacts.
